INFORMATION YOU GIVE US:

You may give us information about you by making a booking or filling in forms on our website wienerwaldresidenz.at (“our website”), or by corresponding with us by telephone, email or otherwise. This includes information that

you provide when you search for a serviced apartment, book a serviced apartment on our website and when you report a problem with our website. The information you give us at this point is likely to include your name, address, email address and phone number, financial and credit card information, special requirements such as those related to a disability or medical condition relating to the arrangements chosen, as well as dietary restrictions (which may reveal your religious beliefs).

If you make a booking through our administration system, which will then process this data on our behalf, you can be assured that this is done over a secure https:// connection and all the details provided are securely stored in the booking system. During this process you, as a guest, can create an account into which you can log in and view the details of your reservations and your data stored there. This can be edited by you, giving you control over your profile.

– Your vehicle registration number (if a parking space has been booked);
– the names of other guests (if over 16 years old);
– Information about your accommodation preferences such as budget, length of stay and type of accommodation;

If we require a deposit from you and/or if you add extras to your booking, we may also collect the following information from you in order to process the payment

Your payment card details (although we do NOT store this information after your payment has been processed through one of our payment platforms (such as Stripe or Paypal)).

PAYMENTS

Subject to our right to collect payment card details set out above, your payment card details will normally be submitted by you directly to one of our payment platforms (e.g. Stripe or Paypal) via a secure payment link that we provide to you.

Although we can access this information, we will NOT download or store this information outside of the payment platform.

INCORRECT AND CANCELED BOOKINGS

If you provide personal information and/or documents in relation to a failed and/or canceled booking, we will retain that information in accordance with this privacy policy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU:

Each time you visit our website, we may automatically collect the following information:

If you have booked through a third party website (e.g. Booking.com or Airbnb.com) we may collect the above personal data from them (acting as a booking agent on your behalf) and not from you directly.

If your employer’s spouse or another third party has booked the accommodation for you, we may collect the above personal data from them (acting as a booking agent on your behalf) and not from you directly.

However, for indirect bookings we may ask you directly to confirm the personal details we deem necessary to reserve the villa for you.

We only request as much data from you as we need in certain phases of our business processes. This is a good practice in terms of the GDPR.

WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION?

To provide you with products and services. Each product and service has different information requirements. Therefore, the personal information we require and the purpose for which it is required may differ. To provide you with information about products and services which we think may be of interest to you. We only do this with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your marketing preferences or by unsubscribing using the link at the bottom of emails we send you (this can be either an “unsubscribe” link or a “manage my preferences” link ) or by sending an email to info@wienerwaldresidenz.at

Because the security of your personal information is important to us, our booking platform “Elina” uses Secured Socket Layer (“SSL”) software to encrypt the personal information you provide to us. If your browser is SSL-enabled (which is the case in most cases), the transmission of your personal data to this online platform is encrypted. You can check whether the transmission of your personal data takes place using SSL encryption by confirming the symbol of a closed lock or a solid key in the lower bar of your browser window. Different browsers may use different icons. You can also verify that your personal information is encrypted using SSL encryption by ensuring that the prefix for the web address listed for this page has changed from “http” to “https”.
